Dude if you are going to leave out Marquez from Floyd, to ensure a balanced view you'd need to leave out

    Pavlik
    Delahoya
    Trinidad

    from Hopkins.

Always considered Hopkins as the better defensive fighter than Floyd.

This too. Many of Bernard's best wins were against smaller fighters.
It behooves me why he doesn't get criticized for it.

Dude, what the **** is wrong with people?????
:patsch Floyd is better than Hops defensively, it's close but he is. He can do anything Hop can, but better. Floyd's resume is better than BHop, Floyd is greater than BHop.

That fact that you called Tito "at his peak" shows how impartial you are. Hopkins is the most overrated fighter on this forum and his resume is easier to destroy than anyone elses.
Jones in his prime broke Hopkins's defense
    Calzaghe broke Hopkins defense
Tito and Hoya fought well above their prime weight
Pavlik and Wright fought above their prime weight
Taylor beat him twice  and then got destroyed by Pavlik/Froch/Abraham.....why couldnt Hopkins beat this guy????

I agree the topic of this thread is dumb, but to say Mosley was the top welterweight is a joke.

His only real loss was against a bigger fighter. Jones was naturally a much bigger man. That's why he was fighting at light heavy just a couple years later.

What makes it a joke? That Max Kellerman and the entire HBO broadcast team said he was the top threat behind Pac to Floyd. Is it that he DESTROYED margo, who WAS the top welter? What makes it a joke? Who was the top welter then? Pac, he had fought Oscar at WW, then Cotto BELOW WW and then Clottey. How does he have more of a claim than Shane did at that time???

Jones IS NOT a naturally bigger man than Hopkins. This is Obvious by looking at the two in their rematch. You do know Hopkins started at Lt Heavy right? And he admits himself that he is a natural Lt Heavy, and he ONLY fought at Middle because he felt there was more prestige and money, this isn't debatable, it comes from Hopkins himself. :deal
