"They made this guy a superstar, and he can't even jab... he got an old school buck whooping, and haven't been the same since, and never will be!"

    :happy

Bernard is just real, he acknowledged that Pavlik just really isnt good.

I've always thought Pavlik had a solid jab. Key weapon in his title-winning performance against Taylor.

Hopkins just made it look like Pavlik didn't have much of a jab because B-Hop is intelligent enough of a fighter to have basically nullified Pavlik's whole offense.

I've seen Pavlik jab...a lot...and very effectively. But not with Bernard. What's Bernard's problem? Maybe that Pavlik was kind of a dick regarding Bernard after the fight...?

Was Monzon not a true champion? Ray Robinson? These guys were classy enough to beat the hell out of their wives...That's a bit worse than talking someone down. Of course Bernard's a true champion. Doesn't mean he can't be an ass.

He's just talking real, win/lose or draw, hes just putting out what he experienced.

Hopkins won every round and beat the hell out of Pavlik, yet Pavlik has done nothing but trash Hopkins ever since and has refused to give Hopkins any credit. Why the hell should Hopkins hold his tongue?

On top of that, Hopkins was very class to Pavlik immediately after the fight.

Yes, even when Kelly Pavliks rabbid corner was yelling absurdities and calling for a brawl.

Yeah, he was. I think it's fair that classy time is over when the guy spits in your face (figuratively).

True champions are defined by how they perform in the ring. That out of the ring **** doesn't fall into the equation. Otherwise many greats wouldn't be considered as such. B-Hop has earned his right to say what he wants, especially when it comes to guys he's put clinics on.

And what did Nard say that was so wrong? Pavlik hasn't looked the same since that fight. Yeah, his jab has been effective against face first brawlers with no defense, but how hard is that to do? Taylor is not even all that advanced and he did a pretty good job against Pavlik's one-two attack in the rematch. We'll see how Pavlik does against Martinez. If Pavlik wants get some respect back, he's going to have to earn it. Martinez would be a great start for him.
