Hes not on my p4p list because he hasnt done **** since pavlik, and with this jones fight, it looks like hes not gonna have another meanigful figth for another year.....

If you dont have any good wins for 2 years, your off my list until you win another big fight.

 

I thought the second fight was a draw or Pavlik should have won!!

The point i was making is that its a one punch game and Taylor and his team were looking past a guy(Pavlik who has decent power)

Pavlik clearly had the bad approach to that fight and that opponent. He wanted to take Bernard out of there just like he was walking down Miranda ( who couldn't and can't fight moving backwards) or like he was trapping Taylor on the ropes ( who was already in trouble cornered and fighting off the ropes by a light-handed MW in Winky). Bernard never let him step in with a lead shot and had him completely worked out out of the counter stance, a short counter jab here, a short counter left hook there, a straight counter right hand and following combo punches in close... It was Nazim Richardson who first pointed it out in the end of the fight and in beetween rounds - They make him a Superstar and he doesn't even has a jab - well, he has a jab but it didn't came off against Nard.

Truer words have never been spoken on this board (that I know of). When did Pavlik become this boxing God? I see him fight and I see nothing special. A decent jab, strong right hand and no defense. What's the fascination with this guy? Is it his skin color, cause it sure as hell ain't his skills!

Hes tellin it lik it is. How cud pavlik say after the fight hopkins isnt that gud or crafty when he took him 2 school.
