Dawson's his only fight at 175 really seeing as Calzaghe doesn't want anymore of him

if he doesn't fight Dawson i say he retires

Hopkins wouldn't come to Wales, he knows only in the good ole US of A will a crowd and a ref tolerate his pussyish rolling around on the floor and hugging and grabbing for the final 10 rounds. Hopkins beats Joe in a 3 round fight, so why not make it an Olympic final and America gets the winner it needs ! Kill 2 birds with one stone. Beat Calzaghe and get an Olympic medal !

Christ! Calslappy don't need to cement anything its already done.

He unified the super middleweight division.

He stepped up a weight and beat two legends. Now depending on which way the winds blowing Hopkins is either long past his prime or not and we all know RJJ is shot to ****!

He ****ing schooled the next best thing in Left Hook Lacy and beat the next best super middleweight out there in Kessler.

The only reason it was a split decision was due to the 10-8 1st round for Hopkins apart from that he did nothing. Landing one or two clean shots does not win a round. He got ***** slapped around and the Pavlik fight proves it.

Let the man retire already. Fighting Hopkins again will do nothing for his legacy he already beat him lets deal with that and move on.

Hopkins vs Taylor III would be great but lets be real they will never agree on a split

I don't think hopkins will move down to 168.
he'll wait if calzaghe will give him a rematch.

A few years ago when John Ruiz , Chris Byrd where the champs i wouldve given Hopkins a great shot at becoming a heavyweight champ but stands no chance of moving up and taking on the big guys who currently hold versions , Hopkins Should go for the dawson fight which would be a good way to end he's career . as he will get more recognition from the win then calzaghe would

Sadly, I think this is true. Both Hopkins and Toney will keep going till they get stopped. Then again, even that wasn't enough to make Holyfield or Jones retire. There's nothing worse than seeing a great being brutalized by a guy who wouldn't have lived with them in their prime.

Ideally, I'd like to see Hopkins rematch and defeat Calzaghe then retire, but I don't think Joe will take the risk again. So I'd like to see Hopkins beat Jermain Taylor then go. I think he would have trouble with Dawson's workrate, I don't fancy that one for B-Hop, and I don't think he could get up high enough to be a cruiserweight, because he wouldn't allow himself to get heavy like Toney did.

That's true because this time instead of Hop rolling around he is going to lay motionless and will have to be carry of the ring. It will be murder for Joe and it will be over.

:patsch most of calzaghes KO wins are petty overwhelming workrate stoppages (ala manfredo) hes never really ha done punch KO power even before his hand troubles. You think he knocks b-hop spark out? get real

Hopkins lost any hope of a rematch , and desreves one even less, for his scandalous behaviour in the fight. For a prison groomed American tough guy he morphed into a *****.

If they do rematch and B Hop does all the things he says he will ( you remember like he was going to before the Taylor rematczzzzzzzzzzzzz ) then Joe Calzaghe will win by CA around the tenth. Cardiac Arrest have the defibrillators ready.
