Hopkins was artificially keeping himself down at 160 for YEARS. all he had to do was eat healthily and not do as much running and that natural muscle tissue would make him put on weight and feel stronger, of course he's going to feel stronger with calories. These guys are fighting below what their body wants to weigh, especially after a LIFETIME at middleweight. Remember his pro debut was at light heavyweight.

First of all, Pascal accused B-hop during the press-conference and the fight-contract was already signed.

Second of all, your post doesn't deserve a reply because it's so baseless. But I have some time to spare...

The Mayweathers dont care about reputation because they are far worse than anything you could ever call them. But they will care when Pac eats away at their bank account.

They do prove they fight clean.. they take mandatory drug tests before and/or after every fight. OSDT doesn't prove someone is clean more then anything else. Haters would just say they cycled off. And that's what this comes down to, personal hate.

***** move by Hopkins. if he would've taken the test, then he could sue. i suspected pacquiao for not taking the test, no i wonder about my boy. it was a very late notice when pascal started asking for tests. but even then, until he proves otherwise, suspicion is reasonable.

You said Juan Manuel Marquez might be a PED user on the other thread.

Damn Divac, you are becoming so paranoid that you think almost all fighters rely on PEDS.

Totally agree, whoever thinks otherwise should rewatch the Taylor fights and then talk. He looked really emaciated and didn't have much strength left. Whenever he did give his body the nutrients his body took advantage. Also, he hired Mackie Shilstone who did this for RJJ and Spinks.

Micheal Moore gained like 60lbs and went from LT.Hvy to Hvy in a few months, that is suspicious...

***** move by Hopkins? What about Pascal accusing him of PEDs use without an ounce of proof? Pascal didn't just ask for OSDT, but flat out called Hopkins a cheater, with zero evidence to back up his claims.

Like Pacquiao? :huh Has Pacquiao defended his reputation yet? I haven't seen it. Do they even have a good case, and why has it taken so long for the trial to start? I think they both got nothing, and Hops has even less on Pascal.

When the **** has an athlete cleared his reputation by filing a suit instead of testing? They have the right to sue, and I'm not against it, because who am I to tell them what to do. As a boxing fan watching it though, I see both of them as somewhat suspicious now.

You have champs like Donaire, Ward, and a few others that say: "I'll take the test anytime because my rep is very important", and you got people like Pac and Hops who say: "I'm not taking any extra tests, but I'm gonna sue the **** out of you to save my rep".

It doesn't look good is all I'm saying, and I'm :-( my head at Pac groupies that now love Hops because he has the same stance as their boxing god. You're suposed to have a mind of your own, have critical thinking skills, and not agree with everything because you are a big fan of someone. I'm a fan of Hopkins, but PEDs are no joke in today's sports and has to be looked at seriously.

I also think that Pascal and the Floyds have gone about this all wrong. You can't just disrespect others publically like this, but you are well within your rights to request more testing when you fell the playing field might not be even. The way I would've handled accusations like this is by taking the test since it's very important in sports today, then kick some ass in the ring. They can still say I'm dirty, cycling or whatever, but that **** won't mean much because I took the best tests, and they are reaching with the other stuff.

As a final step Pac or Hops can still sue, but taking the best tests available is the best step to take if you really are serious about your rep. You can use that in court too as proof that you don't play when it comes to false accusations.

I said I'd be very suspicious of Marquez if he refused a PED test against a meaningful opponent.

I'm not suspicious of Marquez......but if he beats Pacquiao, and then takes on a handful of the current top Welters and dominates them.......excuse me, but somebody should ask that man to take a legit PED test.:deal

Well, some say it's the PED, some say it's careful matchmaking, some say it's because of Freddy Roach.

Are you suspicious of Floyd then? Because he dominated the superfeather to light midlleweight divisions too?

You put that into words beautifully!:good

Its unbelievable to me that, that in a combat sport, more people are not concerned with fighters using PED's to beat the crap out of other human beings.:-(
