Anyone fill me in on the feud... After the Tito fight Hopkins was thanking his "adviser and friend" Lou DiBella and i saw a YouTube videp clip of Hopkins calling DiBella an idiot while DiBella was talking on the Hopkins Vs Taylor fight (their first fight i believe). So why did they fall out was it something that came from the Hopkins and Taylor fight or does it go back to they days when DiBella was running the HBO Boxing ? I think one of them sued the other also?
It stems from the time when DiBella worked for HBO. Hopkins claimed that Dibella solicited a bribe from Hopkins in order to help Hopkins get fights on HBO. DiBella took Hopkins to court for slander and won.
