    This post proves my point.

    Hagler was far more than a brawler. He was an aggressive technician who could brawl if he wanted too, much like Mike Tyson. He was so much more than a tough, awkward southpaw.

    I think Hagler eating punches in his big fights and rushing knockouts and brawling had a big thing to do with him being on the big stage he knew fans liked action and he wanted to please the fans.
