Bernard Hopkins: Me and chad will fight very soon!! That's the only fight for me!!

Let's hope they put this one on HBO Championship Boxing. Props to B-Hop for still taking on the best his division has to offer when he could easily go on a retirement tour boxing against no hopers for the next few years. The man's accomplishments will not be repeated for a long time in the world of boxing.

 

How the **** can anyone claim that Hopkins is scared of Dawson?

Look back at the mans life, why should he be scared of a Boxer?

These people are fighters.

 

After the first fight I am not surprised this fight will be incredibly hard to sell especially as a main event. This should be on an undercard and hopefully people who view Hopkins-Dawson 2 won't see disgraceful 2011 Miami Heat-like flopping from Hopkins. Hopefully Chad fights with passion(doubtful but possible....maybe) and Hopkins makes up for his poor showing.

 

i tought they where obligated to remach by the boxing commission, if its the case, the props go to nobody. but i do want closure for this match up, wont pay for it, but would like to watch it anyways.

 

I expect Dawson to make no changes in his gameplan, which means Hopkins will win.

People are so naive. Hopkins just putting on a show with these comments, its obvious he has (and never had) any intention of fighting Chad Dawson.

I can't believe this guy has any fans, the feigning of injury to stop a fight is the most despicable act you can commit in boxing.

 

Hope it happens. I think it's a long way off though.

Bhops knows this is probably his most dangerous fight since Calzaghe and Dawson wants to use his youth vs him. With a perfect gameplan Hopkins on the inside can win. On the outside he'd just get outworked and outboxed by Chad. Hopkins would have to be very, very careful because he cant afford to get tangled and tackled by a frustrated Dawson again. I suggest he wear down Chads body or else Chad will clearly win this one. He's hellbent on beating Hopkins.

 

Good, rematch is necessary. No other fights besides Bute are interesting for B-Hop
