You think that BHOP wants his **** pushed in by a hungry devastating fighter like Bute. Or would he rather be simply outboxed for 12 rounds and gently handed a decision loss to a close friend.

I respect BHOP for his accomplishments, but the man is a racist, his team is racist, and there's no way he's getting KTFO by a Jew Romanian when he can pass the torch gently to another African American.:deal

 

I don't buy it. Hopkins isn't stupid. I think Dawson will retire Hopkins if they fought.

But if he does take the fight, much respect to him.

 

I also thought Hopkins was scared of Dawson. I'm either wrong, which may be the case, or this is a preemptive move/posturing by Hopkins with no real intention of fighting Dawson. He's become a good actor lately.

 

I don't mind the rematch but i'd prefer him to fight Cloud.

 

Hopkins will win and the casual Boxing fan (like most of you) will owe him an apology.7

Former die hard Hopkins fan, definitely NOT a "casual fan", that said consider Hopkins "REPEATED" history which I'll illustrate. It's HARD to be convinced he wasn't acting. Mind you, I'm someone that actually traveled to see him fight....

Lets get a couple things right here. Hopkins didn't jump on Dawson's back. Hopkins predicable right hand lead Chad slipped and Hopkins bad balance from that lead lead his momentum onto Chad.

Now what I find hilarious is this. Antwun Echols threw Hopkins down MUCH MORE viciously than Dawson did. Hopkins wanted to KICK Echols arse after getting over the pain.

In his fight with Dawson, he not only wasn't eager to get up but said, "with one arm?" in the most tamest of Hopkins tones. Heck, he used a more vicious tone to Steve Bunce when he was "b!tchin" about the lack of heat....(anyone recall that?)

So we're REALLY supposed to believe Mills Lane's "LEFT ARM" had enough force to push Hopkins completely out of the ring on a break? Allen was CLEARLY winning that round..

At the time I didn't want to admit it but Hopkins was gased and took a breather and faked like there was a low blow when Calzaghe threw NOTHING there.

Roy did hit him in the back of the head no doubt. But Hopkins reaction and long delay again, come on.

I'm sorry I use facts to make my judgements and now we have the Chad Dawson incident. Show me a boxer in recent memory that has a history of doing things like this? If this was Hopkins first incident, sure I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. But it isn't

Either fight Dawson or give up the title and retire.

I hope the fight gets made but just because Hopkins wants it doesn't mean Dawson will. Dawson made it clear after the 1st fight that he didn't want a rematch. Dawson's promoter even said they would give up the title rather than face Hopkins again. Makes me wonder why so many think Hopkins is scared of Dawson when he chose to fight him the first time and seems to have no fear in facing him a second time.
