You say that realizing that Pascal has never even been down in his EXTENSIVE amateur and pro carreer even less stopped? Froch couldn't hurt him bad, neither did Diaconu. Dawson landed his hail-mary uppercut and still he stayed up.

But Hopkins is going to stop him? :-(

Is it just me or does Hopkins look slow in that video? Like his movements aren't crisp but sluggish. No snap to the punches. I think Hopkins is going to look great the first few rounds but father time will catch up to him as his tank starts to run out.

I would be pretty surprised if Hopkins beats Pascal in Montreal.

Pisses me off so much that he's training at Joe Hand gym, where I used to train a few months ago. Can't believe I moved away before he came.

I'd be surprised as well. The fight's in Quebec City. A 2h20m drive from Montreal if you follow (but who does?) the speed limit.

He actually looks alright. God short sharp punches, that are well disguised.

I'm with you on this. He's looked stiffer and slower in his recent fights (both hands and feet) and...I don't know...just not sure about how he looks in this training video. I definitely don't expect him to win. That's alright though, he's pushing 46.

I'm one of the biggest Bhop fans on here but it's laughable to think that Hopkins stops Pascal. Really laughable. He hasn't had a knockout since the DLH fight and has never been a puncher after his prime. Even a decision is highly unlikely because he's fighting a Canadian in Canada so it's like a lose-lose situation for Hopkins. He'll get credit for the win but the question is will he get the win? Hopkins should get respect for even facing Pascal and one time he called out Haye so his bad showing in the RJJ 2 fight shall be forgiven. He made up for his performance against Calzaghe by beating Pavlik in a good fight. He also made up for his close decision losses to Taylor by moving up to lt hvy and beating Tarver. Hopkins was an underdog in the Pavlik & Tarver fights too and if history shows something it shows that Hopkins usually performs at his best when he's the underdog. Hope he wins but I wouldn't sleep on Pascal, he's very good.

:lol:All jokes aside if he beats Pascal especially by impressisve fashion then that makes up for his performance against Jones. He made up for his loss to Calzaghe by beating Pavlik so let the old man be lol.

To be fair, he used to be a thug before turning pro. Keywords "used to".

Hopkins will hopefully get ko'd and finally retire, he has to be one of the most over rated fighters of the past 5 years. He has done nothing significant in years.
