Can't stand listening to Bernard. He used to get to the point much quicker. Now I can't listen to him.
I've actually never liked Hopkins's personality or his fights much TBH. Great fighter but can't really stand him much personally.

"How does this position you as a company?" That's what he asks Hopkins after that rant? Bernard owns shares. He shows up when people say we need you to stand here when they take pictures. Clearly, he isn't standing in front of a dry erase board with a marker in his hand plotting out the corporate strategy of Golden Boy. If Bernard stood up at a meeting to speak, he'd go on for a half hour about, "Why do they call this a white board? I'm not white. I'm on the board." Just saying there’s nothing to say. One thing that never changes is that things are always changing. We move on. One door closes another opens etc etc. The hustle continues.
He talks a lot and some of the things he says look like nonsense. But he's right. Showtime leaving the business is not good or bad, it is just a change. The absence of change is impossible, so sooner or later change will happen and real men are not afraid of change, they embrace it. So dont be a sucker, man up and stop crying about showtime. Old bernard is right. And yes, he probably can be a dickhead most of the time, but when he's right he's right, even if he babbles while being right.

It's not difficult to understand what he's saying. He simply said to stop acting like beta bitches and embrace changeinstead of acting hysterical, as the only thing consistent is change. He also acknowledged that the powers that be are controlling everything, from politics to diseases and cures and even entertainment. He didn't lie.
