    Yes.

Why? his best wins are over 3 blown up fighters and Tarver. He has lost to a guy who struggled with Kassim Ouma and Cory Spinks, twice.

He has one of the weakest records of any ATG. An ATG he is, but not one of the best ever.

Screw him. He's a dirty fighter. Pavlik would KO his dumb ass @ 170.

One more fight with Roy, beat him down, and finally retire.

Oh, please - those are two of the most arguable decisions in major fights in that past several years, particularly the first fight, which Hopkins won clearly. If it wasn't for Taylor's HBO connections, and Hopkins unpopularity with the boxing establishment, Bernard woulda won that fight and there never would have been a second.

Hopkins is a great fight. Fight should have happened 5 years ago though.

It's got absolutely nothing to do with HBO. They don't decide who wins. The judges, and many, many people, gave Taylor both fights. I personally didn't, but the judges did and that's all that matters.

And even if HBO did have a big say in who won, when Taylor fought Hopkins the first time, what makes you think that HBO would have rather had hmi win? If they are deciding who wins, there is more reasons behind having Hopkins win. Simple as. He was the dominant champino, he had the name, he was the boxer at 160 - Why would HBO choose to have Taylor win? Obviously it's nonsense because they don't, but I want to hear your opinions on that.

(By the way Zakman, I apologise for going over the top in my post earlier. It came across like I don't like you, which isn't the case. If it seemed like I was angry at you or whatever, it wasn't meant that way :good )

There is absolutely no justification for Hopkins to be close to Archie Moore or Marvin Hagler. He isn't ahead of Monzon or Spinks either. I doubt he makes top 10 in either weight class.
