I have seen the fight more than YOU. The problem is, I don't see like you. And I know he was not gonna stop him in that round, he never even hurt Pascal, it was due to fatigue why it appeared that way. You can keep on with these faiytales about Big Bad Chad Dawson if you want to but the fact of the matter is, he got spanked, fair and square by a limited fighter, who teddy atlas claimed and everyone else on this board claimed was limited.(even though I don't agree, Pascal is much better than he gets credit but he's not Hopkins level)

Lol...ok obviously you aren't even trying, so that's fine you're right my pick has nothing to do with Hopkins being 47 years old, the naturally smaller, slower, weaker fighter...it's that I'm blindly crazed over a fight from what 7-8 years ago? Great post man, I'm the "fan boy", yet here you guys are standing by a completely irrational "fan boy" pick with little to no logic to support said pick, kind of ironic.

Every pick I make, I have reasons for.

Would you like to see them?

How's Jermain's chin holding up, ******? Where's he fighting next, in someone's backyard? Being that you're the president of his stanclub, I expect you to know these things.

It doesn't matter at the end of the day, Dawson will beat his ass. Hopkins can stay silent, talk, whatever, he isn't beating Dawson. Hopkins was going to lose the first fight. Dawson when he's 100% mentally focused and determined, I don't think anyone from 168-175 can beat him.

He couldn't even land a significant punch on him besides one straight left in the first round(and he's suppose to be the bigger, stronger, and faster athlete) and the second round he was getting even more frustrated when Hopkins was taking more of his weapons away, including his overrated ****ing jab. But he's gonna beat his ass into oblivion now,LOL but was getting ready to do an antown echols in the first fight?:huh Please!!!

If I was the only Chad Dawson fan there wouldn't be argument in this topic in the first place.

The only way Hopkins could have won was to grind it out to a decision, I don't think he was up to it. I think it was too much for Hopkins to handle, there is a possibility he opted out of the fight.

When my V-cash total was awesome you left me alone

    1. Dawson had his moment, he was perfectly tuned in mentally and ready to prove just how good he can be. It got taken away from him. History shows that Dawson blows hot and cold. What do you think the chances are of him turning up at peak motivation twice in a row? I'd wager that they're slim.

    2. The previous fight is a huge factor. Bernard Hopkins has had two rounds to study Chad Dawson. You can bet that Hopkins learnt more in those two rounds about Dawson than Dawson had a hope in hell of learning about Hopkins.

    3. The idea that Hopkins was dominated in the opening two rounds is a mis-conception. He found a home for his right hand. Dawson will get tagged, and he may well get discouraged.

    4. It's do or die for Bernard, and people disregard how important that is. How motivating that is for a fighter.

    5. Bernard Hopkins could write a manual on how to fight Southpaws.

See the thing is people HATE Hopkins because he's either a douche/******* with an ugly style who they've long hoped would retire and because he's outlasted all their heroes and proven he's the greater fighter so now they want him to suffer the same fate as their heroes did and they see Dawson as the ointment to their butthurt.
