so you guys admit now that floyd has nothing as great a win over trinidad as bhop does?

so when did floyd overcome the odds and won just like when bhop won over guys like pavlik and pascal?

Floyd would potshot him with the right hand, his best punch, like he did Hatton.

Calzaghe leaves opening and Floyd is one of the best counter punchers.

Sloppy punches like that would never land on Floyd.

My point is that one victory doesn't make an entire resume. Even if you feel that Hopkins beating Tito is better than any win Mayweather has(I don't agree BTW), that is not enough to say that Hopkins has the better resume.

You're simply making **** up here. Your resume is all about who you defeated. Any type of resume that you create(think about a job resume), you list your accomplishments. Your accomplishments are when you meet or exceed a goal. Fighters go into a fight with the goal of winning. It's not an accomplishment for a guy like Hopkins to simply fight good fighters. It's an accompishment when he wins. Anyone can fight Roy Jones Jr. The real test is if you can beat him.

Arturo Gatti is an ATG. He fought prime DLH and Mayweather!

Chuck Wepner fought Ali p4p top 20 ATG.

Name me one fighter below 168lbs. that would be favored to beat Mayweather? Martinez is the only possiblity and he would probably be the underdog against Mayweather. Meanwhile, guys coming up in weight are being favored to beat Hopkins. You can't downgrade Mayweather because the betting public has more faith in him than Hopkins.

Hopkins has no special physical abilities and has always been a old guy. No real power, speed or reflexes.
Floyd has reach, speed, reflexes and skills.
Hopkins has lost fights before and has been in some really close one while most of the time Floyd is dominating.

Mayweather gets penalised no matter who he fights because he is always the betting favourite. Thus the illusion he never takes risk is embraced by idiots. You would think mayweather would be fighting tomato cans like roy did for along while or euro bums like calzaghe the way they talk about this guys resume.

floyd could have fought pacquiao with almost close odds. same with martinez. at least bhop was figting the best that his division has to offer and not the 2nd or 3rd best. even at this stage of his career, bhop is outdoing floyd in opponents/resume part.
