If you're going to argue with me, argue intelligently and stop picking at things I've already addressed. I've already stated that before Calzaghe beat Kessler I felt their resumes were about close and that I might've even given the edge to Hopkins, but Calzaghe's win over Kessler gives him an edge. And even before the Kessler win I fail to see how wins over Echols, Johnson, Holmes, Joppy, Eastman, Wright are greater than Mitchell, Reid, Bika, Brewer, Lacy, Eubank, or Sheika.

And for the record.. nobody would even think to mention Johnson today if he hadn't had the good fortune of catching Jones on the downside of a mental breakdown. :yep

Just curious why you fail to mention Tito, Tarver, and DLH when it comes to Hopkin's resume?

Right there shows just how much you truely know about boxing.

    :patsch

Now onto another thing you said. I wasnt restating what you had said about the resumes being close before Kessler...I was calling you INSANE for thinking that they were close before Kessler.

You are right Hopkins WAS better....and still is for that matter.

    You mentioned Sheika....:rofl

I didn't read the entire thread so i don't know if i'm missing something but i would guess that anyone looking at Hopkin's resume would have to include Tito and DLH as one of his better/bets wins.

Which is why I said I'd give Hopkins the edge... BEFORE Calzaghe beat Kessler.

    Edit: sorry, typoed.

Hopkins dominated and was more consistent throughout his career. Toney was found using roids. ROIDS! The man was a drug cheat. That immediately puts a question mark over his career.

Well, you keep telling me that Hopkins is apparently heads and tails above Calzaghe as far as resumes are concerned, but you're not showing me why. You're just listing the names of fighters Hopkins has beaten and listing the names of fighters Calzaghe's beaten as if I'm just supposed to see things your way. :huh

I have shown you why...you just do not want to listen. Its all good tho...as I have said, I fully respect Calzaghe's resume...but Im not so blind that I cant see that while it is very good, its very limited and shallow, whereas Hopkins is not only great, but deep.

    Again, agree to disagree.
