Who the **** is Rakim Oakes, i keep hearing this guys name mentioned, i ask read his name on the thread about Tyson in Prison

 

I would pay to see oakes there! What a beast he was!

 

All that was just hype to sell the fight. Have you read about the young amateur fighter stricken with cancer that Bernard helped so much?? Probably not Nard doesn't do things for publicity but because he genuinely cares

 

Di Bella was no innocent there either I swear the 2 supposed Taylot dec wins were orchestrated by him as payback to Bernard in my opinion. Because there is no way Taylor legitimately beat Bernard

 

Id love to know what REALLY happened between Bernard & Bouie. I met them both when I was with Quincy Taylor when he defended his WBC title against Keith Holmes & was totally screwed out of it by the Kings.
Nard & Bouie were more like father & son. Told stories like how they'd spent the night in Bouie's car after one fight because the motel the promoters booked them into was so bad. Bernard said to Quincy " You were robbed man & don't you think of quitting because you & me are the two best middleweights in the world & we gotta get it on"
In my mind I firmly believe Nazim Richardson had a lot to do with the breakup. Just looking at the lies he told at the Margarito wraps controversy. For me that shows what sort of p-erson he really is
