Can someone copy or put it in his own words what Bernard said in the BTalk interview?

I hope he does retire he has nothing left to prove. He still has the skills but at 43 he was winded after just 6 rounds and has had to rely on a slow work rate in the last couple of years.

If Hopkins can't land a rematch with RJJ or Calzaghe, he should retire and enjoy life. There are no other options for him at this point.

I think he can still win a HW title. He would UD them and his stamina wont be too much a problem because even at his old age, he still has more than most HW's. Hes got the chin to handle their punches too.

No way. Hopkins couldn't beat Pavlik. Pavlik would win quite a bit more than 2 rounds against Hopkins, unlike Calzaghe, because of styles. Hopkins might not even win 2 against Pavlik (as he did against Calzaghe).

My respect to Ex if he's actually done. To do what he did, at the level he did, for as long as he did it, took a kind of focus and willpower that doesn't come along very often.

I hope he enjoys retirement and his family, and stays active within the sport. What I really wish is that he'd consider becoming a trainer at some point.

hop's strategic savvy and technical prowess would make him an excellent trainer
