Years past prime when arguably his two best wins are either side of Joe.
    Nice try though.

Damn but hopkins fans are so sore about this slappy fight, hopkins only has himself to blame, he was not very good in that fight and calzaghe out landed and out lasted him pretty easy by the end, thats how it was, it shouldnt have even been a split decision

Me depending on how my punches land and/or how damaging they are but it really depends on how the fight looks. If I counter you while you're throwing then my inactivity can be be forgiven imo. Many punches you throw shouldn't be counted as they're not direct punches as mine were but it's an interesting debate. It really isn't a definite thing and very subjective. My opinon dude but I respect yours too and see where you're coming from but I just feel differently.

Let's just agree to disagree then. We both need to rewatch the fight lol. But on a serious note, when you rewatch it really look for what's landing and what's not no matter the quantity unless you just go for aggression. I prefer quality over quatity but you may look for something else. I can't make you think the way I do but I respect your opinion whether it changes or not.

taylor was an actual threat who had the physical attributes to make up for the superior skill of hopkins. calzaghe had the race to match up to hopkins' skills.

Sure stopping the cmaera and commenting on stillframes is normal for judges to be able to do. That video is bull****. I scored the fight for calzaghe watching it live. That video ignores most clean shots landed by calzaghe.

According to 2 out of 3 judges, not in my eyes though and many of fans and ring side obsorbers who scored the fight. And the only majority of anything that thinks that is people on this site cause it's european website, and where is slappy joe is from? :roll:Oh, yeah you know the answer to that.

Nope, it doesn't ignore **** because if he so much won it desicivey like you say than there would be no need for any video. It's a reason why Calzaghe didn't wanna fight hopkins again cause he knows just like you do he would of loss even more convincingly, like Williams did with Martinez. 10 yrs. from now though I bet you they won't be talking about Calzaghe's legacy like they will hopkins.

He didnt lose though. He won. Your opinion is your opinion but calzaghe has the w next to his name and deserves it. Some shitty video detailing every shot hopkins makes and ignoring calzaghes aint gunna change this.

Calzaghe had figured out Hopkins in the later rounds of the fight. A rematch would have been a wider decision to Joe in another shitty boring hug fest. If hopkins had it so damn easy why did he fake the low blows?

edit:most of the members on this site are americans.....

Oh yeah, you take a survey or something? I asked many of people about that fight and nobody yet has said Calzaghe has won.

Thats because your some butthurt Hopkins fan. That video you posted is ******ed. Fights dont work in still frames with rewind and text telling you whats what. Calzaghe clearly won a very messy close fight.

Spot on mate! The video even ingores shots by Calzaghe in rounds that the video maker gives to Hopkins. How can you do this?

RD 6 is the worst: Calzaghe lands 4 of the 5 best punches and 5 of the best 7. In fact there is so much bias and inaccurate analysis in that RD. Joe clearly won RD 6 - it was one of his best.

Yeah, I can understand that. I can see your point too.

If you only landed 6 punches and knocked me down 6 times, I'd probably give you the round..;)

If Taylor hadn't beaten Hopkins then I doubt Calzaghe would have taken the fight. Taylor showed that you could rely on work rate, not skill, to beat the old man.

It's also pretty clear that most people here haven't seen much of prime Hopkins from the 90's to the early part of the 00's
