B-Hop is the ****ing professor. I think he has what it takes to be a good trainer.

Rashad had a look that either said "wow this guy is the boss" or "this guy is full of ****"

    nice.

regarding the mma glassjaw thread. the stances are different. you cnat have a boxing stances due to leg kicks and td. which makes for a larger target. the larger glove surface also negates punches getting through. bhop is a g.

Anybody that has anything to do with fighting, be it boxer, MMA fighter, street fighter, barroom brawler, or just a fight fan would give their left nut to learn and train from B-Hop. If not, then you're in the wrong damn business. :deal

Bernard ring IQ is amazing. His stance and measuring distance by position his lead front leg was good to see but i doubt Rashad will stop squaring up. Bernards stance makes it too vulnerable for takedowns in MMA. Still Rashad could learn a lot with what Hopkins showed.

Reminds me of that video of Michael Jai White showing Kimbo Slice how to land a punch.

Always love hearing a good fighter talk about technique, especially someone as knowledgeable as BHop.

Ironic they talk about the lead leg. Boxers and MMA guys I've talked to... it always comes back to the lead leg and stance.

In boxing you can generate more power on your shots by using your legs and postion. We always talk **** about MMA fighters throwing "arm punches" because they don't put their body into punches.

They generally say the reason they can't throw proper punches is because of the lead leg.

In MMA, having your leg out there like Bernard was showing him leaves it open for a possible take down. Their stance is different because of they have to protect that and that changes they way they throw punches.

    Seems like it makes sense.

Still, seems like there are opportunities where they could use a proper boxing stance and land some big shots against a guy who isn't likely to shoot the leg for the take down.
