And on the off-chance Bernard DOES get by Pascal (who is better than Jermain Taylor), Froch-Hopkins should be made in Nottingham. Carl's the champ; if BHOP wants the belt he can go and get it!

The only way I see Froch winning this fight is if he and Bernard are in EA's Fight Night Round 4 later this year and it takes place at his place on PS3.

 

Hopkins will definitely fight only Americans here on in.

He fought a European last and got pummeled. It is far safer sticking with the American level fighters.

We saw in Lacy, Andrade, Miranda etc. what happens when American-based fighters face the best Europeans. I think Hopkins would be wise to stick to Americans. Wise of him to decline an offer to fight Kessler last year. And although Froch hasn't proven yet to be on Kessler's level, Hopkins should probably just stick to the American circuit. Safer.
