    Great post gay color but I have to disagree the greatest boxing champ ever ? Hmm sounds a little fishy when a few weeks ago the boxing world was begging him to retire ..

    Well it's all opinion. He definetly belongs up there with all the greats whether you think he's greatest or not.

    Well said.

    I very much enjoyed this article. Bernard Hopkins put some real sweet icing on an already secure legacy last Saturday. It was beautiful.

    It's nowhere near as good as the article I posted about Hopkins on the classic section when he was closely observed and studied under the watchful eye of a veteran gym rat in his late 70's at the Wild Card gym last year. He also gave his thoughts on Hopkins' win over Pavlik. His name is Don Familton and he's seen all the greats. Robinson, Louis, Laguna, Duran, Bivins, Arguello, Williams, etc. He's seen some of them at the Main Street gym in California, also at ringside.
