He's a lock for first-year eligibility in the HOF, and he's alredy a ATG, not debatable

Joe IS NOT an ATG. History WILL NOT reward him for his victory over Hopkins thats for dam sure.

What more can he possibly do? Cleared out SMW, defended his title for eleven years, was supposed to fight Hopkins a few years ago only for B Hop to pull out at the 11th hour, doubling his demands. Joe has never ducked anybody and never lost:huh

Hopkins is clearly an ATG and deserves to be in the HOF.

I kind of think my post has settled this thread, the part that reads 'not debatable' is the part im referring to.

It will be nice to see how many people vote against it though

Definitely an ATG, without question. HOFer on the first day he's eligible.

Look at his resume. Although good its not the resume of an ATG. Joe didnt actively seek any challenges. He preferred to defend his belt in the comfort of his home town. A victory of an aged B Hop can hardly catapault him into immortality. If thats the case then Joppy Berbick and Briggs all have a shout too as they all beat great fighters well past there prime. Joe had nothing to win from this fight. All he did was make some nice change.

Never ducked anybody.. You seem to have forgot the last 10 years. As for never loosing big deal. All GREAT fighters loose. Thats what makes a fighter. Not protecting your 0 courtesy of the WBO.
