You are a moron and I can prove it so it isn't an insult.

    Evidence:
Brinkley and Magee who couldn't draw flies to seats have come to Canada, let's see Dirrell doing that and There this excuses won't be valid anymore. Your have embarrassed yourself with that sentence.

Bute won't fight Pascal and Hopkins because he doesn't want ro go to LHW yet when he has Froch Ward Kessler and Dirrell as option at SMW Where he is a Champion. He has unfinished business there, he can go to LHW but he thinks jumping weight up and down won't be healthy and it's possible once he goes up he could not be able to come down again.

Thanks for being the first to point out my points. :rofl

Showtime wants Bute-Dirrell in USA, you will applaud Bute fighting at home against a Pablo Farias type fringe journeyman instead.

Hopkins wont be doing much fighting after the Dawson fight ..Bute needs to worry about people in his own division before he tries to go on the old legends tour !

If it's the only fight available may as well.

We have no idea who will be available for Bute this year. Or, to be more precise, we have no idea who won't be available. So Ward, Hopkins, Pascal, Dirrell, Dawson, Kessler... all will be available this year IMO. I say that Forch IS still available (but not for long).

Here's my scenario: Bute will fight Froch in April (probably on a neutral venue). If this fight fails to be made he will fight Pascal (in the worst case Dirrell). His next fight will take place about 6 months later and he will fight Ward or the winner of Hopkins vs. Dawson after that.

Interbox needs to put up some serious money if they really want to see Bute against the elite. Everybody knows it's an uphill battle when going to Canada so the reward has to be there.

I have a lot of trouble following your train of thought.
Brinkley and Magee can't draw crowds, so they come to Canada where they don't have to, since Bute alone draws huge crowds anyway.
Dirrell can't draw crowds either, so Bute has to go to USA to fight in front of 10 people, instead of Dirrell following the example set by Brinkley and Magee of going to Canada to fight in front of the huge crowds Bute can draw up there?

Showtime doens't want Bute-Dirrell in USA, it just wants Bute-Dirrell. Showtime is fine with the fight being in Montreal, as it's in the same timezone as New York.
Dirrell is the only one "insisting" on setting the fight in USA, but that may only be a ducking strategy.

Yup, exactly. Since Brinkley and Magee didn't fraw flies to seats, (and also because they were the condenters) they had to come to Canada. Since Dirrell said he wasn't much interrested in doing so, and he is in the same position they were in (no fanbase + no belt), that makes your point somewhat.. invalid? :think

Edit : Hmm.. like watcher said! lol

I have a strong feeling money won't be enough. He'll have to forget about booking arenas in Canada 1 week after he fights.
I think (and hope) he realizes money aren't everything and that he must make a real sacrifice. ...Like in fighting outside Canada (for less money, of course). He and his team seem way too rigid.
It's not normal to announce the date and location of your fight first then your adversary's name, months later.

If Bute can't get Andre Dirrell to come to Canada, and the NY/NJ thing doesn't look very profitable, maybe Bute should make a strong offer to Anthony Dirrell to come to Canada in April rather than Oakland in Jun/July?

I don't think Anthony is at all deserving of a title shot, but it might be a entertaining fight.

Hopkins challenged Bute and Bute refused. Someone posted a thread about it.

The offer most probably came while he was negotiating Froch whom Bute wants badly.
In the meantime things went wrong for Froch vs. Bute and Hopkins wisely chose a Dawson rematch.
