Hmm actually, the cause IS clear, it's Showtime who doesn't want to broadcast Bute-Froch, they want an American to fight Bute. Haven't you heard that yet?? Don't know if Ibox made a press conference, but they made a few interviews to explain it.

You keep going on and on with that Pascal. What you don't understand is that Pascal is a loser. He runs his mouth to get fights because it's too risky for his type to go normally up the rankings and earn a mandatory or something like that. He has the potential of being starched by anyone, even the Omar Pittmans of the world. The more he fights, the more he risks being beaten into irrelevance. So, figuring that his chances of losing to nobodies is close to his chance of losing to more well-known fighters, he figures he might as well take the bigger fights anyway. A loss to a great name isn't as damaging and the purse for the fight is higher. However, he will always only get the "opponent" share of the purse. His lack of standing and gravitas is reflected in that fact.
There is a name for those types of fighters. Gatekeepers.

Pascal got real loud at a Miranda fight a while ago, calling him out and talking trash. That's what he does. But afterwards, he ducked Miranda! :yikes
He got beat up by Froch and decided he would have more chances in a division devoid of talent, so he moved up to LHW. He fought two wars there with Diaconu, who everyone knows is less skilled than Bute. Diaconu is also shorter than Abraham, who found even the move up to SMW challenging, to say the least.

Yet another double-standard you are guilty of concerns the weight. You keep saying Bute should have moved to LHW for a fight with Hopkins or Pascal and that it wouldn't affect his ability to come back to SMW afterwards, where the real action is. Yet you claim that Pascal can no longer come back down to SMW, after having made the move up.
When you call someone out, you go to his weight class. If Pascal truly wants Bute, he needs to come back to SMW, where Bute has a belt and where he plans to campaign for a while still, as there are issues to be settled.

So I have to assume that Bute and Showtime have a contract that explicitly say Froch is out of any discussion and that Bute has to end his contractual obligation before ?May? and is not allowed to fight other fights outside the network, like he did with Mendy? Also, I have to assume that the contract puts all the burden on Bute's shoulders to make a fight, even if no guy wants to fight him (IMO such a contract ain't even legal; you can not involve a third party unless you get his signature too)? Also, I have to assume that there is a penalty that Bute's team can not afford if he goes over SHO's head and have 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 999 fights before taking the one SHO requests?
You may feel like you answered the question but you just raised a hundred more. Once again, InterBox must make things clear in this case. Be aware that the same can be done by the rest of the parties involved. Froch may give us his version, Showtime can do the same. But I'm not a fan of those. I expect more form the one I support, not from the others.

So here's just a bunch of questions I would ask Bute and his team:

    1) Did Showtime had a delayed reaction to your negotiation with Froch?
    2) If no (they contacted you right away to tell you that they don't agree with the fight), why have you continued negotiations, knowing that other possible opponents may find other partners?
    3) If yes, do you know why they've let you make such a fuss and buzz knowing that they don't want the fight? Do you feel like SHO is screwing you?
    4) Does the contract between InterBox and SHO have a penalty in case you don't fight boxers that they agree?
    5) What are the fighters that SHO agrees with?
    6) How much is the penalty?
    7) What is the deadline of your contract?
8.)Was it possible to extend the contract for one more fight or to renegotiate it?
    9) If yes, have you tried to do that?
    10) If you did try to do that, have you failed?
    11) If it failed, can you tell us why?
    12) If it didn't .............
    etc.
I hope you get my point. Don't forget that these questions come only form the "SHO doesn't want to broadcast Bute-Froch" statement.

Just to conlclude, you response is not satisfactory at all unless at least one of the parties comes with additional explanations.
I don't give a **** SHO refused Bute vs. Froch. That fight must happen unless Bute and his team tells us why it is wiser and better not to.

Well in fact, the Froch camp confirmed the "Showtime wants Bute to fight an American" info. About the "out-of-contract-fight-like-against-Mendy", it's totally different since the fight with Mendy was in Europe and the broadcaster wasn't a SHO rival, like HBO is in North America.

    1) Yes, and it is because Ken Hershman was alright with the idea but since he's gone to HBO since 2012/01/01, the new guy at SHO has different plans.
    3) Explained above.
    4) Doesn't look like it. It just seems that they wont broadcast the fight if they don't agree with the opponent.
    5) They talked about Hopkins (which I don't understand since he's contracted to HBO), and also about Dre Dirrell and Ward (but Ward made it clear he wants a tune up before, which is alright with me)
    7) After the 3rd fight of Bute on Showtime, unless they sign another one.
    8) Yes it is, at least that's that Ibox said about the contract when it was signed (3 fight deal with options for a 4th)
    9) No answer on that. They might be working on this right now IMO.
    Etc..
