Can't argue with that. So many intriguing things about this fight.

Can't wait to see how it plays out. Whoever has better feet that night to control the distance wins. Of this I have no doubt. My feeling is Hopkins definitely has better feet, and unless Kovalev's hand speed is better than I'm crediting him, then I believe this is a winnable fight for the old man.

While I'm admittedly rooting for Hopkins, I'm just hoping for a good fight! Props to both guys for taking what, in my opinion, is a high risk/low reward proposition for both boxers. It is a fight they both could have avoided, but they didn't. And despite all the sophomoric banter between fans from each camp - I hope both sides realize that fights like this getting made are good for boxing, period.

    May the best man win!

Yes big respect for both fighters, and hope it makes for a great night.

I like both these guys so its hard for me to root for either but im rooting for the krusher because he is the future and the 0 cant go.

Plus if hopkins loses then there is no shame and can still have his legacy.

Without a doubt the old guy's right.

Like Rummy I've not been this excited about a fight in a long time, and while I'm kinda rooting for Kovalev I'm good with however it goes... main thing is that it's a good fight.

    Can't damn wait...

Hopkins in his entire career has never been involved in an exciting fight. This will be a dirty snoozefest and it will be Hopkins fault.

Only casuals can say it is not! Cant wait for me Kovalev is clear favorite but i always second guess myself when i pick against BHOP, Kovalev is pretty much good style match up for Hopkins but he is 49 years old he cant have the engine to beat Kovalev.

Gonzalez vs. Yaegashi, Pacquiao vs. Bradley II... but this is up there.

Winner will hold 3 belts. Hopefully Stevenson will unify immediately in a dream world. I'm picking Kovalev in this one.

No arguments here, in reality this is a great fight between the two best LHW's in the game. I really admire Hopkins for taking this fight when Adonis the ****** clearly ducked Kovalev. Personally I wouldn't be interested in betting on Hopkins unless odds got close to 4/1 but he certainly has a chance of outpointing the Russian. I will be tuning in at 4am UK time!

Place your bets on Bernard Hopkins and make some money.

Golden Boy Promotions will do whatever they need to do to make sure the old ex-convict doesn't lose.

Let's not forget, B-Hop is a part owner of Golden Boy. All four officials including referee David Fields are from the same part of the country as B-Hop.

The key is referee David Fields. If he lets B-Hop use his head butts and goes along with his head games and pretending to be fouled, Hopkins will win (either because of a cut to Kovalev caused by a deliberate head butt, or by DQ after Bernard pretends to be fouled).
