They didn't want Barrera to keep on. They let him go without any kind of contractual dispute. What good MAB's deal with King brought to him?

DLH never left his own company for getting embarassed by his (co-promoted) fighter, lol.

Mosley can only blame Floyd, both Shane and JMM was offered and Floyd took the easier task for the return fight. He accepted Mosley only under enormous pressure as Pac took on the credible Clottey.

Hopkins going to Don King because Richard Schaefer fears his life is beyond sanity. Schaefer could make tons of money off a Hopkins-Haye fight but he saw a shot Jones sending Bernard to hospital with rabbit punches and saw the 2nd biggest puncher in the entire sport hitting Ruiz flush on the back of the head several times, and decided not to be involved in a boxing tragedy. Props to Schaefer.

What's with Golden Boy? No promotional company is without issues nowadays, but the only one being delusional here is Hopkins. Go back to Don King? Be my guest, see you in 2011 in some shitty fight!

    B-Hop signing with Don King...

That just tells you all about the fall of Don King.

I believe Nard is done in a p4p sense. He should be remembere for his last great performance against Pavlik rather than tuneups and joke fights against the ghosts of Roy Jones and, heaven forbid, Tito Trinidad. If he wants to leave GBP because Schaefer was honest then he's being a *****. Don King, who I've never really liked, is now also not a very good promoter. Then again, most of his fighters box once a year so it should suit Hopkins.

He needs to suck it up. Doesn't he own part of GBP too? Doubt King allows him to own part of King productions.

The real issue of GBP with their original partners (Barrera, Hopkins, Mosley) still boils down to money. I don't think Shaefer will suggest a B-Hop retirement if B-Hop still able to draw good money from his fights. There's rumor that GBP gave many free tickets to B-Hop vs. RJJ fight and it's still below decent number in live attendance.

You can't really say that these 3 generated good profit for GBP out of their fights.

Because almost all of King's fighters (Cunningham, Jones, Santos, Spinks, Collazo, Barrera, + others, whith the exception of Alexander) are hopelessly inactive and Bhop is far from active himself.

Hopkins finally tired of DLH's demands for tranny-style fishnet testing.

"Draw"? <<Hopkins? Hopkins can't draw a middle school gym if he were fighting there vs shot fighters or c minus fighters.

This just shows Hopkins just don't know **** when it comes to business. He wants to go back with King? The same King that Hopkins was pissed at for not getting big fights?

I agree. Hopkins, Barrera and Mosley were not really considered big draws when they already started fighting under GBP.

Barrera has big fights against Morales (3rd fight) and against Pacquiao (2nd fight) but those were mainly promoted by Top Rank.

Barrera just signed with GBP when he met Pacquiao the first time and we knew what happened there.

No they were promoted really by Golden Boy promotion. In the 3rd fight after Barrera clearly beat Morales, Arum was pissed at Oscar saying Oscar have something to do with the judges scorecard. <<Now how can that be true if Oscar as you say is not really involved of those fighters you just mention? Hopkins, Mosley, Barrera were not really consider big draws before the gbp. But ever since all 3 has been with gbp, all 3 have been on in big fights and all 3 got pay alot of money.
