Barrera-Morales 3 was promoted by Top Rank. Pacquiao-Barrera 2 jointly promoted by GBP and Top Rank.

Yes these 3 got some paydays under GBP but their fights are not really contributing bigtime to GBP's coffers.

I don't understand why any fighter would even consider signing with Don King. The guy is a crock of the worth order. He makes Arum and GBP look like little fluffy bunnies in comparison.

I thought Hopkins was a partner at GBP.

This is just begging for a story about massas and molasses right about now. Jack Prescott has his moments.

    Maybe Hopkins can fight Cunningham.

The fight would make a lot of sense espceially if Hopkins signed with King. Both are from Philadelphia and it would give Hopkins a chance at a cruiserweight title. But Cunningham isn't a draw and I don't think Hopkins would want anything to do with him anyways. Cunningham beats Hopkins.

You can be sure there's some kind of buyout provision. It's not like he owns a big chunk of the partnership.

To add to that Hopkins only wants big fights so signing with King again won't get him those especially now.
