No doubt, but just like against Mercado and Pascal it took him 2 attempts to do so

The mother ****er hurt himself due to the way the ref split up the two fighters you really cant fault him for that it wasnt exactly a page out of the Cintron book... and do you really think Allen would have beat him anyways?

Indeed, for an alledged ATG look at these facts and consider that in all of the people Hopkins couldnt beat first time around.

Jones - took Hopkins 2 attempts to get a win
Mercado - took Hopkins 2 attempts to get a win
Allen - took Hopkins 2 attempts to get a win
Pascal - took Hopkins 2 attempts to get a win
Taylor - in 2 attempts Hopkins couldnt get a win :patsch.

Now think how these delusional fans say Froch is limited and remember that Froch in his first attempt beat both Taylor and Pascal :smoke

    1. Trinidad (Tito was on a roll: Oscar, Reid, Vargas at 154 and Joppy at 160. The guy was considered to be nearly unstoppable). I think this was the last time we saw Hopkins in his physical prime.

    2. Pascal (Not only because of the accomplishment, but because this is probably the most exciting BHop fight ever. Both hurt each other several times during the fight. Hops has been accused -and I can´t disagree on that- of abusing of negative tactics, fouling and making fights ugly just to survive. This time he fought the whole 12 rounds, taking much more risks than before).

    3. Tarver (So Hopkins only called welterweights? How about this masterpiece, taking to school the guy who beat Roy Jones twice?)

    4. Pavlik (People thought Hopkis was going to die).

    5. Winky (Cracked Winky´s shell).

Only, Trinidad should have lost to Oscar De La Hoya and picked up a trinket title at MW so people consider him confirming himself at MW. Why is it no one felt Hatton was confirmed at 147 when Mayweather beat his ass? Or no one gave respect to Taylor for beating Corey Spinks when he came up despite being a multiweight champion.

Remind me, how much success at MW did Trinidad have? Oh that's right. Trinidad was a good win, but not an amazing one for all the things thought about.

Trinidad is not Hopkins best win.

Some absolutely incredible achievements, not easy to make an order.

I'd say Tito is above all, complete dismantle and stoppage of P4P#2 as heavy underdog to get the lineal MW championship.

And then may come the other underdog victories: Tarver (2 divison jump, shutout for LHW belt), Pavlik (biggest age difference and brutal dominance), and Pascal (on the road, setting age record).

And there are the other memorable achievements: first legit victory over P2P#2 Wright (at a catchweight), first and only KO of DLH and first time every all-WBC-WBA-WBO-IBF unification in history (at 156lbs, close to LMW!), only stoppage of Glen Johnson, personal revenge over ol'Roy (that should not get less credit than Roy beating a very green Hopkins), unification (Holmes), plus JDJ, the record setter title defense vs. Eastman, the record setter fastest finish vs. Frank the list goes on...

    As for the order:

    1 Tito
    2 Tarver
    3 Pavlik
    4 Wright (very underrated)
    5 Pascal (age record)
    6 DLH (156lbs, all-4 titles)
    7 Johnson (only stoppage)
    8 Eastman (title defense record)
    9 Jones (personal)
    10 Holmes (unification)

Why are people acting like Tito wasn't a huge force at middleweight. He beat the best at welter moved up. Beat the best at 154, effectively ending two very good fighters careers. His first fight at middle he destructed Joppy who was on anyones top 5 middleweight list at the time..
When I say destructed I mean destructed. Tito brought everything he had from the lower weights up with him. Hoya just wasn't on the same mental level as Bernard or he could have done that to Tito a couple years earlier. Nard effectively ruined Tito that night, just like he has so many fighters before and after Tito.. Great win..

Tito is hands down the best win of Hopkins or of anyone in the past decade.

You forgot Tarver lost a lot of weight for that fight after beefing up for the Rocky movie. Anyway, at the time most of those fights were seen as great wins and Hopkins was underdog in many of them, so you have to respect that.

His 5 wins for me are Tarver, Winky, Pascal II, Pavlik and Trinidad
