Interesting to see what the result would be both at 40 years of age at light heavy .

Moore at his very best wins.

Ive seen a pretty good argument that he stops him...But Ill go with he just wins clearly.

I love Archie Moore but I think Hop is too crafty. I think Hopkins does just enough to survive and earn a narrow decision.

Without checking the stats at boxrec, I think Moore has some size on B-Hops so I would give him the edge. Would be a fantastic fight to watch for boxing purists!

    what so funny ?

about that? you think B-hop knows everything there is to know about boxing. maybe today he does BUT Archie would bedazzle him

Fighters don't get any craftier than the Old Mongoose. His considerable edge in power and punching technique is what gives him the clear edge in this bout.

The naturally bigger and stronger man here is Moore. He also has a big advantage in punching power over Hopkins. Bernard is a clever fighter, has a great defense and like Moore has fought well in to his 40's when most fighters are retired. I believe in this fight we would have Moore pursuing Hopkins and trying to cut off the ring with Hopkins looking to counter punch. It would be obvious at ringside that Moore is landing the crisper and harder punches with Hopkins doing a lot of holding as he realizes he cannot out gun Archie in this fight. Moore is one of the all time great light heavyweights in boxing history and would show Bernard just why on his way to a unanimous decision victory.

To take nothing away from Bernard here, only the first two options are needed in this poll.
