Fair enough! I don't see Froch getting anywhere near stopping Hopkins, but after tonight's terrible stoppage, I guess it would be a likely outcome if Froch even managed to slightly wobble B-Hops. Incidentally, I do recall Hopkins mentioning a fight with Froch in the UK. I don't think he went so far as to call him out, but I seem to remember him mentioning that as a possible avenue he might pursue. :good
You didn't read it? Hopkins was gassing and faking low blows when he was 5/6 years younger against a Calzaghe that doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as Froch does. So at nearly 50 I'm not sure Hopkins could handle 12 rounds against Froch. Has Hopkins ever shown an interest in fighting Froch? Edit - Just seen the above posts.
Froch wasn't impressive but make no mistake, Hopkins isn't on that level anymore. Imo Froch stops him mid-rounds.
Hopkins by decision or even by KO or TKO. Froch was almost knocked out by Groves, was getting his arse beaten, but Froch's referee saved him. There should be an investigation ASAP, and it appears there will be a rematch. Even Froch's fans were disappointed and booed..........
