http://ringsidereport.com/?p=4446 dunno how accurate this is.at 45 you would have to say''X''isnt much of a chance.but he was the underdog in Tarver and Pavlik.Pascal doesnt have the punch output and insane workrate of Calzaghe but 45 is different to 42.who wins this if it happens?
you have a point but i would rather discuss big fights in the Aussie forum even if they dont involve Aussies than with Yanks in general forum.
I think father time has caught up with Bhop. He looked ordinary against a very poor Jones Jnr. Pascal to win an easy decision.
never watched Jones jr II or Ornelas.i think he will lift against Pascal but concede he has to decline sometime.hes quite old to be fighting at this level.
A prolonged beating would be my first choice but the KTFO twitching on the ground option would also suffice .
I love Bhop so i hope he puts on another masterclass and retires as the "man" at 175 however realistically it is a 50-50 fight. I don't rate Pascal that highly and Bhop is now ancient.
dont think hes racist.his boss is a mexican.the never be beaten by a white boy was just hype playing the bad guy.Hopkins UD..
Yeah, you're right, he didn't really mean it, plus he can't be racist because he's black. I have nothing against black people, I think every white man should have at least one of them.
nah its just hype.blacks can be racist.Friday nights out in Taree or probably any aboriginal town usually result in being called a white **** at least 3 or 4 times.any way he did get beaten by a white boy so it blew up in his face.
Stiffy man that's **** mate Hopkins is as racist as they come but it gets overlooked because he was once a good middleweight champ , Seeing him faking and crying to the ref about low blows v Calzaghe was one of the biggest acts of cowardice i have ever seen in a ring , Pascal is still being underrated by everyone AGAIN and i hope Hopkins ain't got the ref in his pocket this time and Jean actually gets to put the beat down on the ***** that he ducked out of getting v Joe .
well the talk is it will be in Canada so i dont think the ref will be in his pocket.Jean fights in spurts and doesnt overwhelm fighters like Joe.Hopkins will keep the fight tight and close.lots of clinching, holding trying to get every advantage he can.his inside game will win him this one.:thumbsupno love for the ''X'' Josey?
Canada is closer to Philly than Port au Prince is for the Haitian Pascal and no i soured on Hopkins around 2002 when he skipped an entire division rather than face Calzaghe , I respect his Middleweight career though ,at Middle he was a fantastic fighter .
