Huh? How is he a hypocrite? And what does that have to do with his success in the ring, or his standing in a Bernard rematch. You lost me there.

Hopkins fought disgracefully in the first fight and acted, well wrong word acted, he is an ass. Calzaghe made it clear he will not give hopkins a rematch. the outcome would be worse for hopkins in a rematch.

if bernard lets his hands go in spurts and frustrates calzaghe as he did in the last fight he should win more comfortably than the first time. When hopkins threw in combination calzaghe didnt counter him once and hopkins combinations offset and upset calzaghes rhythm. even roach picked up on it in the corner

IMO B-HOP already beat Calzaghe in their first fight, by one point. Of course there were some very close rounds, so I guess one can say it could have gone either way. It's true that Hopkins faded in the second half of the fight and went into survival mode. Hopkins seems rejuvenated now after what we got see in the Pavlik bout, if he can keep that pace over 12 rds against Calzaghe he will clearly beat him. I know Calzaghe and Pavlik have different styles, but it's all about Hopkins here, if he can keep up the pace in the later rounds he will clearly win. Don't forget that Pavlik is a very energetic fighter too who keeps coming, and Hopkins outworked him! It was indeed the most active Hopkins that we've seen in years.

If Bernard was younger, I think he would abuse Joe. BHop is 43. Joe has too much on Hop right now.

I think Joe outworks BHOP again. If Bernard ups his tempo he could win. Hopkins did land the cleaner, harder shots and did ,ake Joe look amateurish. However, Calzaggy worked and worked, eventhough he landed very few clean shots he worked while Bernard was stingy with his leather, well, he's 43.

    Wider UD this time.

Hopkins surely wouldn't use those disgraceful tactics that didn't work last time and they definitely wouldn't work in Cardiff.

He would be forced into a more offensive game plan where Calzaghe would be more into his comfort zone.

He won't get a rematch anyway he blew any chance he had with his disgraceful antics throughout the whole affair.
