Woods and Hatton arent in Calzaghe's league skill wise buddy!!!

And Hamed laid some seriously damage on Kelley and Sanchez before losing to a Mexican!!

Plus Ricky did beat 3 guys in the USA.....Mayweather's kinda good y'know??

Calzaghe is no RJJ ... don't ever compare the two ... RJJ is in a category by himself and doesn't need to be discredited by being compared to Calzaghe.

Oh he's going to be slick and fast .... speed ... speed ... speed ... just because he's fast doesn't mean anything besides the fact that he's fast.

No one disagreeing with you that Calzaghe is fast ... why can't you say something about his boxing? ....

He throws alot of punches ... so what? ... you have to land those punches ... and I doubt if he committs to those punches for them to be effective against B-Hop.

He did the same for the Kessler fight though.

Hopkins loses this one bad, although 5 years ago this would have been an awesome 50-50 fight, now its 80-20 Calzaghe.

    Keyword: "over the hill"

Eubanks is not B-Hop and that was over 10 yrs ago ... keep searching for some significance on that resume.

I got one for you - EVANS ASHIRA

Why the disrespect for Joe Calzaghe???

Surely if you have any knowledge of the sport you'll realise that 10 years and no defeats is too long to be hype and trash??

Most Brits although dont like Hopkins personality respect the man for being a qulaity boxer....even if his style is awful to watch

Eubank wasn't over the hill....he was gun shy after the Watson tragedy but not washed up.....ill prepared yes, but that was still a huge win for Calzaghe

And he beat Ashra with one hand....impressive......

What league is Calzaghe in? ... he's no different in the fact that he built himself by fighting no names in the UK and hasn't fought serious comp in the US.

Don't forget Hamed who came in with the same hype as Calzaghe and got his ass outboxed.

JC will dominate BHOP in the same way RJJ did because they present the same problems (speed, punches from all angles etc) for BHOP but JC will make the fight more intense with his workrate

Hamed was more than HYPE, he held multiple belts and was a huge puncher!!

that word is so over used on this website!!!

Calzaghe has more skill than Hatton and Woods...if youre questioning that then you're not worth talking to

How impressive was the Ashira win when he's a light middleweight? :good

One hand ... finally someone acknowledges the hand issues ....

    Keywords: ill prepared

huge win fighting a guy that was well past his prime ... just fighting for fun and was 10 years older.
Eubanks was a strong fighter ... not boxing ... not defensive ... just strong.

Calzaghe = speed + alot of punches
Hopkins = poise + experience against top level opposition + defense + good hands + better physiqe + not sheltered & protected

Not surprised to see a Calzaghe fan rating someone Calzaghe beat over Hopkins.

At 160, Hopkins is the best that division has seen in 20 yrs ... and has reigned as undisputed for 5 year holding all 4 major belts at one time and defended his IBF for 10 years ...
