Bernard Hopkins VIRTUOSO PERFORMANCE

i picked hopkins to win but i didnt think he'd dominate pavlik so easily,respect is due.

 

You had your Eugenia Williams spectacles on. Hopkins even resorted to feigning being hit low for rest.

 

i picked pavlik, because i thought the oldman was going to gas. sensational performance. never happier to predict a wrong outcome. jokins staring down the media was surreal.

 

Respect to Bernard. I never liked the Pavlik/Hopkins matchup (for Pavlik) and even thought Hopkins would beat him. Unfortunately the hype got to me, and although I still didn't like the fight, I thought Pavlik was going to pull out an ugly decision. Having this said, Bernard looked ageless. I was never easy on Bernard because of his age, and on saturday night I didn't have to change my philosophy. Bernard entertained and he put another stamp on his already decorated legacy, he is definitely an all time great.

 

same here...I am a converted bhop fan...he made so muh money fighting boring fights, tactical defensive even dirty...but the fight with pavlik was a boxing exhibition that I have not seen from anyone in a long time considering the tear KP was on...BHP is BADASS staring the media down,,,,KP got executed

I can't put a fighter over another in P4p when they are both champs and ne has never lost and actually beat the other head to head.....bhop is bad ass but not ahead of calzaghe P4P

 

Man I hate Hopkins with a passion. But I gotta give it up to the 43 year fighter who fights like he's in his 20's!

That was a bad ass performance! Much, MUCH respect to Hopkins! I was blown away by his completely dominant performance. He had no fear, he was in Pavlik's face ALL night. That is the best Hopkins has looked in years!

Something I though I'd never say about B-Hop, I am now truly a fan. Keep fighting B-Hop, because after this performance I'll buy every single fight you happen to be apart of.

 

Probably in the TOP 5 or 10 of all time greats!!!!

At 43 schooling somebody at prime age of 26!!!!!
That's a great achievement by itself.

Currently, who among the active boxers can do the same performance
at age 43?!

I doubt it if ODLH, PAC,JMM, CALZAGHE, WILLIAMS, QUINTANA,MARG, COTTO etc.. can duplicate what Bhop just did when they reach the age of 43!
