It's about getting the prettiest record for the easiest night's work. For those without knowledge of the situation, Quillin destroying a durable fighter who's never been stopped will be impressive.

If I could alter life I'd pick Maidana to beat both floyd and pacquiao and become a legend.

I hope Lucas Konecny can rewind the clock tonight and do himself justice in his American debut yet possibly last fight of his very impressive career( amateur and pro)

Apparently he has eye problems too?

Im still not buying that a fighter with legitimate eye problems would be allowed to fight for a world title in DC in the year 2014, in a fight on TV.

If Konecny got seriously hurt, the Promoters/Commission/Sanctioning body could be sued for millions for leaving an unfit fighter fight.

I'm wondering when said eye issues would have occurred. He challenged for the jr. middleweight title (and acquitted himself well against Baysungurov), and obviously passed the physical needed to fight. Presumably the vision impairment would have occurred in his two subsequently fights...:think

You do remember all the BS surrounding Khan vs Peterson? Just because it´s a big city doesn´t mean the athletic comission is doing it´s job.
Many commissions are not funded/ran they way the should be and thus a **** ton of BS fights and sporting events take place.

Let's wait until the fight starts. Maybe they selected DC because they'll let him wear his glasses.

Fights are allowed to compete with contact lenses in certain states and districts. DC may well be one of those states.
