Stevenson can crack and he can box a little bit but is he busy enough to give Hopkins any trouble?

All this mindless praise of Hopkins who beats a scrub. A truly great fighter, Joe Calzaghe whipped and humiliated Hopkins and forced Bernie to beg for a rest period and fake low blows late in the fight. Hopkins was whipped in his prime with hometown advantage by the great Pride of Wales, Joe Calzaghe.

    That's dam impressive.
He limited his opposition's punch count to be below his own and had an average 50% connect rate across the board.

Where do you rate BHP now that he has another piece of the LHW puzzle?

Calzaghe would've struggled with Shumenov. :banana

(hell, the poor man's Calzaghe - Nate Cleverly - struggled with Murat, the poor man's Shumenov)

I have been saying for months that if he beat Shumenov very clearly it would be highly creditable and his best W since Pascal II, 2nd best since Pavlik.

    I stand by that.

Doesn't Stevenson move/punch like he's fighting under water? Stevenson or Kovalev would have KO'd Shumenov in a round or two, TOPS. get real...

    He wasn't in his prime......

But he will be soon. Just give him a few more years.

The worst part is when a fight is semi closish a knockdown completely changes it

How many rounds would they have had to give Shumenov to be winning by 1 point when knocked down, im guessing they gave one of the first 2 rounds 10-10

    Then Shumenov another 7?
