    Who wins and how?

I think Foster wins most of the early rounds with the long jab while Hopkins doesn't throw much. But sooner or later B-Hop figures him out beats him up on the inside, out muscling him and making it dirty and dominates the 2nd half of the fight

Foster would wear him down, and win a comfortable UD.

Hopkins was a ****ing old man at this weight. He's got no chance at all of mauling Foster on the inside or out-muscling him.

he's more likely to be gassed by the 8th round due to the pace he'd have to fight at to keep away from Foster's power, and end up having his skill horribly caved in once he slows a notch. He wouldn't have the reflexes to slip Foster's all-time beast jab of doom with any consistency whatsoever.

In all honesty Hopkins is the most overrated light heavy of my lifetime. The guy was a GREAT middle, but benefited from a weak crop of fighters to keep fighting as long as he did above that.

Hopkins was at his strongest at LHW particularly the Tarver fight which is the best he's ever looked athletically

Agreed. He was confident of himself too. I remember reading a quote of his from an old Ring magazine going something like "I don't think Joe Frazier would want to trade left hooks with me".
Later outcomes prove otherwise, but Bob certainly believed in himself.

After a little taste of Foster's power in an early round, Hopkins would retreat into his shell, fall down a lot in clinches, feign being fouled, complain to the referee a lot and go into total self preservation mode to avoid getting knocked out. Foster W15 Hopkins.

true this is what Hopkins would do to survive the 15 rds but Foster was in a class of 175lb puncher that Hopkins never saw and BF could take him out. Foster wins

Foster by Late TKO, Hopkins was very old at this weight and doesn't belong in with Prime Killers like Bobby
