No would shock me if this fight was made. Hopkins has just come off his worst loss to date and isn't a big draw. Froch is all but retired and would only fight on if he could face an easy fight he could make a ton of money for and if BHop has anything left he could very well embarrass Froch, it's a horrible style match up for Carl.

Considering what's happened to him, the Chad Dawson loss is a lot worse.

I'd disagree. Dawson was a world class light heavy at the time and deemed to be a horrible style match up for BHop, I never thought Bhop would beat Dawson. Yes he faltered afterwards but he was drained against Ward and always been horribly inconsistent and recent performances suggest he has little to no desire left at all.

Kovalev utterly dominated Hopkins, partly because Kovalev was better than anyone expected and Hopkins decline was greater than thought due to the weak opposition he had been facing. The scorecards alone say that Kovalev beat BHop worse than Dawson.

froch destroys hop was soon as Bernie gasses out, at least after round 8/9 but possibly sooner.

then again froch may just carry Bernie, hes not the kind of cowardzaghe to try and beat up a 40something.

I disagree. I think Hopkins is all wrong for Froch. However...

Frock wins probably on points. Hopkins is too old now.

This is why I think the Dawson loss was worse in retrospective because 'Bad' Chad has fizzled. Yes the Kovalev beating was worse in terms of scorecard (and it was only the ref's admiration for Hopkins that saved him from having Hopkins suffer his first stoppage.) But Kovalev is the baddest man on the planet currently and I don't see Kovalev imploding like Dawson did hence I see history being kinder to Hopkins for the Kovalev loss then the Dawson loss.

What about beating up a 50something which Hopkins will be Berol. Is Froch that kind of chap?

And what if Hopkins schools Froch, by dropping down in weight and coming to Nottingham, 8 years after 'Zaggers beat him.

Would you still refuse to give 'Zaggers credit for moving up in weight and beating him and Joe Cortez in a handicap match 8 years earlier. :think

:rofl Froch is tailor made for BHOP, its just that Bhop is 50 at 40 years old BHOP schools every version of Froch.

Prime Bhop would terrorize Froch. Right now it'd be an even fight with Froch having a slight advantage and he would likely UD Bhop with Bhop being a half century old.

I don't think Froch wants to fight anyone who'll beat him.

Hopkins, GGG, DeGale, Ward... he doesn't want to know. He wants to keep his career losses to a minimum. He knows his limitations.

That's about right. He must be hitting his head against the walls for not fighting Chavez Jr. That was the best win he could get at this point and a perfect way to retire.

When I said worst loss I meant the most one sided not the loss which was most damaging to Hopkins reputation. In that regards losing to a journeymen in Clinton Mitchell was worse. Dawson even now is better than Mitchell ever was.

what would happen is this - you'd wake up from your wet dream.

I've omitted the joe cal/super hans ho-mo details from your dream for reasons of taste. dreaming about things that aren't going to ever happen suits you though, very cowardzaghe.

In that case yes the Kovalev was the worse beating Hopkins ever took. Wouldn't be surprised if the police actually got calls of a white immigrant beating up an elderly black man :think Then again looking at recent events, I guess there wouldn't be many calls :think
