Hopkins always has the coolest color combinations. . Black/Orange. . And that Green/Blue he wore against Pascal was tight. .

I said the same thing about Hopkins body. . Although he weighed in same as last itme, at a light 173.5, it looks like he lost some lean muscle mass. . .


ROUND 1: 10-9 Dawson; Nobody really did anything, though, but Dawson was the ring general, controlling the range, and pressuring him. . . Slow, measure pace as expected. . Dawson needs to pump the jab more. . Hopkins playing the role of mongoose waiting to strike. . . 10-9 Dawson.

 

Round 1

Dawson coming in behind his jab catching Bhop head charging in with a right. Dawson pumping the jab having Hop on the move. Dawson controlling range with the jab. Lead left from Dawson. Bhop rushes in with his head down and then slaps. Nice cupping left from Dawson after trapping B-Hop in the corner.

10-9 Hopkins. Close first round, almost nothing in it.

 

Hopkins setting the first round up well taking the jab away from Dawson by staying well away. Also doing well not to get caught on the ropes. Looking to frustrate Dawson early and doing a great job. Not much action but Hopkins is being effective trying to get Dawson off his game early. Also Dawson is buying those feints every time.

 

Chad is being very patient in there. Cuts down Bernard's opportunities to counter and ****.

 

Hopkins trying to jump on Chad's back again. lol

 

10-9 Dawson. Bernard fighting scared.

 

Dawson is too slick for him. but he needs to develop his left hand more. Whenever he used it against Pascal, he'd get him in trouble
