    Dawson's consistency in out throwing, and out landing Hopkins is starting to show. Hopkins is still very game, and now Dawson is cut over both eyes.

    Dawson steps forward and lands a lead left. Hopkins leans back against the ropes and pulls Dawson in close against himself. Hopkins spoiling at range and clasping up close. Very little offense left in the tank for Hopkins. Left hand by Dawson, and he starts to open up into a combo before Hopkins gets an arm around his back. Hopkins coils his arms repeatedly around Dawson's. Richardson is complaining to Cotton from the corner about phantom fouls - headbutts and elbows - that Dawson isn't committing. Richardson yells at Hopkins to "keep feinting". Yeah, how about a real punch? Dawson lands a real left hand while Hopkins is trying to hold. Dawson is cut over both eyes. Right hook by Dawson countering a right-left from Hopkins. Richardson screams "He's fading!" even as Dawson continues landing jabs on Hopkins. Grazing right hand by Hopkins.
