Dawson starts off aggressive. . But Popkins standing strong in the pocket looking for his own shots. Dawson taking a page out of Popkins book and again finding home with that lead left hand. . . A little exchange, nothing clean landed. . Lil check right hook landed by Dawson on side of Popkin's dome-piece. Both fighters clinching up in center of hte ring. . Hopkins cilnches Dawson up, and drives him backwards a little, almost trying to show "he's strong too". . NICE backhand uppercut from Dawson lifts Popkins head up! Popkins ends the right with a CLINCH - HOW FITTING!. .

Lampley praises Garcia as the "unsung hero" for handling the cuts well. . Emmanuel Steward gives a dry little cackle in response. . .

Yep got Chad in great shape managed to get him to fight to a game plan also had some great advice in the corner.

Dawson has this in the bag a good 4 or 5 rounds at least.
