    And? Dawson beat the best light heavyweight in Hopkins who beat Pascal twice in a row (if everyone saw the first fight) in which i think Dawson vs Ward should be next.

    Haven't yet gone back to read how other people scored this fight. I had it easily for Dawson, 11-1 rounds, and 119-109 points. I only gave Hopkins the 9th round. Several others were close, but to me, Dawson was busier, threw more effective punches, and had control of the ring for 11 of 12 rounds, and was a worthy winner. Not a starmaking performance, but Hopkins never allows those. My one disappointment with Dawson is his calling out Ward in the postfight interview. There are so many great fights to be made at 175 with real light heavyweights, why chase someone who is comfortable in the division below? Makes no sense.

    Dawson vs Ward would be a good superfight for both men. And it may very well be a fight between to top 5 pound for pound fighters.

    He better be ready to fight Bute after May 26th. . . That's hte first order of business. . . .

    He's got NO excuses after he dispatches of Froch. . The money would be bigger in Montreal with Bute, and just as big, still if not bigger in the USA. . .

    I'm pretty sure Dawson/Ward would be a awful bloody fight - style wise. . . Probably even less aesthetically pleasing than Popkins/Dawson. . .


    That fight isn't "marinated" enough yet. . Ward has unfinished business @ 168 first, THEN he should move to 175.
