Bernard Hopkins vs Chad Dawson - Where is the hype?

There's no hype because of the first fight, because Dawson has no fanbase and no charisma and because Hopkins has refused to do any promotion, refusing a press conference and a face off with Dawson.

 

Whatever excitement existed for this matchup, quickly died out after that brief 2-round preview of what was to happen. The ending made it worse, too.

It's always been more of an intriguing fight, than an exciting/hyped up one.

 

This statement here is why theres been little hype for this fight!

 

Hopkins didn't have a media day...

 

there no hype because bhop is the one thats not doing interview or press conferences like that. word on the net is that he is not even going to do face off with chad. thats were the hype comes from press conference, face off, 24/7, countdowns and we dont get any of it for this fight.war bhop i hope he can pull off another win by hook or by crook.

 

Hopkins steps in the scales, gets out of the scales, doesn't look at Dawson's face and leaves, steps in the ring, does his routine, gives the usual interview and steps out of the ring... With the WBC still in Hopkins hands. Gary Shaw leaves the ring on stretcher from heart problems and high tension and of course related with a life of eating fats and drinking and seating all the time... No Hype we're sorry, Dawson doesn't deserve to be here, he's only here cause the WBC ruled it.

 

Does someone here have any inside info from the Hopkins camp on how the old man is looking?
