Bernard Hopkins vs Chad Dawson - Where is the hype?

Glen presented an open target and Chad just downloaded bunches of flashy punches on him but as soon as he punched back - don't go that far 10th round Quincy, in the 3rd round, Chad was staggered. He never knockdown Tarver in the 12th, I mean in the sense that Bernard was not given two knockdowns against pascal for touching his gloves outa balance on the canvas.This guy can't throw 30 to 40 punches without getting punched out like Calzaghe did on Byron Mitchell so that the ref comes in. He can only explode sometimes, more often than not cause he's just 29, with creative and accurate punches in combos of 5 punches like body-body-str8 left-str8 right and right to get off. He's clearly a boxer-half-puncher but the worse is when they don't square up in front of him and he has to make use of that horrible footwork and lead double hook rather than jab, jab, one-twos and fight on the inside no matter who gets caught... It's all hype! He will do his best to outwork Hopkins and steal rounds.

 

Very true
