B-Hop on points IMO. Steele was an awesome boxer-puncher who could really do it all, was very tough and hit like a Mack truck. His résumé is great too. But I feel that the advantage lies with Bernard here. Steele didn't like when Apostle applied ceaseless pressure, and Fred wasn't a LHW-sized 160er with immaculate fundamentals. I think if B-Hop attacked him from the onset he would win a clear decision. He could also take the safety first route as he was much longer and bigger.
They both have quite unusual styles and it's hard to see how they mesh. Steele seems faster, harder hitting and more unorthodox. Hopkins has the size, durability and a system of fighting that proved itself. Tentatively picking Steele.
