In his prime? Hopkins stops him late. Hopkins was a master tactician. Power never bothered him. GGG is great offensively, but is too willing to get hit. GGG does his best work at the mid range. B-Hop easily keeps him at bay with his height and reach, and spoils on the inside/whenever GGG tries to turn it up a gear. Hopkins bloodies up the face enough and the corner throws in the towel or the ref stops it.
yes I do mean prime. if it was a mid40s Bhop then anyone fairly good can lose the first half of the fight to only capitalise on bhops slowing pace due to age to scrape a ppoints win.
Hopkins outbox McClellan, he was smart enough to take the power of McClellan with his movement and frustrating him before McClellan could do something. B-Hop UD.
Since when was golovkins nickname gman?? I'm talking about Gerald McClellan, and golovkin clearly has power lol
My mistake, with GGG always being the hot topic around here, I just assumed it was him you're talking about. This should be in the classic forum though, no?
How you guys can seriously analyze a fight like this when one is retired and the other is active is beyond me. Lol
No way in hell Hopkins can even make 160 at his age. But GGG would beat him just like Kovalev did if not better. GGG knows how to beat people who try to spoil. So much so that there are videos of him teaching Kovalev on how to deal with it.
