I think inside both guys are pretty even. Hard to pinpoint who's better. Been so long since I've seen that version of Toney though. It's hard to argue with either. Would be a fight tape and teach up and comers with, that's for sure.
I didn't say he'd beat him solely with movement. Of course he's got to punch Because of Hopkins' movement and advantages on the outside, I see him landing more against Toney.
Yeah but I remember being shocked at how fast Littles was. He is defintiely one of the fastest middles I have ever seen. Hopkins best shot is the lead right and there's no way hopkins is going to land that shot, Toney's got that one covered.
Hopkins was able to land the lead right vs Roy even (just about the only thing that worked for him well in that fight) but your saying he wouldnt land it on Toney? I agree Toney, especially at these weights was phenominally defensively (I think Bernard is a shade better defensively, but we are obviously talking two of the better defenders of this era)...but with Hopkins unreal timing on that lead right, coupled with his superb accuracy...the lead right is landing bro...no doubt about it.
