Two living legends that where signed to fight but strangely never did. I say Toney wins by decision.

Actually, this could happen. Hopkins could possibly make 200. He might want to do the same as RJJ. Actually, didn't hopkins say he wanted to jump into the HW's a couple of years ago? I believe it was going to be against Maskaev, but I could be wrong. It would be interesting.

There would be little point in Bernard bulking up for this fight.

Rather, I see him going into the ring at around 185-190.

Toney can come in at any weight he chooses.

    Bernard wins by outboxing him.

Benard I think could take this, Toney is the sluggish form of himself. I think he should make his Heavyweight campaign at the end of his career.

I could have seen Hopkins beating a slow Maskaev, but not Haye. Haye is too fast and powerful for Hopkins.

I'd call a Toney UD in a real clash of the titans.

I think that it is a ridicules statement to make saying that Hopkins would beat Toney at Heavyweight, since it is uncertain as to how Hopkins would handle the weight. Even if he only went up to 200, which is still a cruiserweight today, he would be 25 lbs heavier than he has ever been. That could make a big difference. Would he have the legs to move away from Toney? Would he have the speed? And could he carry the weight for 12 rounds? If he came in close to 175 then he would be giving away way too much weight and strenght to Toney, and he would have to run like hell.

On top of that, Toney is not as slow as people think even at 40. And his pinches are very accurate.

History shows that very few fighters are succsessfull when moving up to heavyweight from a lighter weight class.

People seem to forget that Toney is virtually imobile. He had trouble with movers, even back when he was in shape. Hopkins is so much more versitile, he's taller and can use his reach to comfortably UD the fat man.

That was when the Cruiserweight limit was 190. If Hopkins weighs anything less then 200 he wont be allowed to fight a heavyweight.
