Assuming Huggy Bear wins a very ugly, close decision against Haye and Hopkins looks great against RJ. I think Hopkins schools Ruiz. Wide UD. Hopkins walks around 185 or so right now and he can put on 10-15 lbs of pure muscle to come in around 200-205 lbs.
I hope its Haye though. It would be a lot more satisfying. Being the third former mw to clown Ruiz won't have the same impact. Haye is seen as being as more legit even though he's slightly better than Ruiz imo. I think BHOP beats both though. Haye, a counter-puncher, has a low workrate and loads up often ignoring his jab. So Hopkins won't be pressured and have to worry about pace. The only concern is power. However, Haye has sloppy footwork and is out of position and quite vulnerable. Even Barrett caught him a few times. Technically, he's very flawed and a legendary tactician like Hopkins can find holes. Haye is not a good attacker either; he's best when he counters and I think Hopkins would force him to become the aggressor and look to counter himself. I'm backing Bernard 100% against both though. He's got the intelligence, skills and balls to pull it off. BHOP UD RUIZ BHOP KO10 Haye
Yup, presuming the rules are properly enforced against his illegal tactics and other bull****. Ruiz has already shown how he can embarrassed by lighter weight fighters, twice.
No way in hell Ruiz is stupid enough to let ANOTHER former middleweight become an Heavyweight champion by fighting him.
