B-Hop schools him. Jackson would land some good shots in the early rounds but BH weathers the storm and breaks The Hawk down gradually before a late stoppage or wide decision.
Agree with the consensus - Hopkins far too canny and skilled. Obviously any opponent in history has to beware of Jacksons incredible power but power isn't enough to beat the likes of Hopkins, Hagler and Monzon. Hopkins late stoppage.
Jackson was a big Jr.MW who moved up, while B-Hop was a Lightheavy who moved down. Edge to Hopkins in a Tito type win.
Hopkins avoids the big punches from Jackson whilst dismantling him with his own. Puts him out mid way like mcallum.
The only thing in question is whether BHop stops him, and if he does, it's later. Jackson never lost a fight by decision I think. I also think the older Hopkins is in this matchup, the more likely he is to catch a punch from Jackson that turns the fight and is less likely to stop Jackson. Overall, Hopkins is too crafty for Jackson and wins by decision or later stop.
